Hi! Thanks for visiting our blog... the official blog for the 2008 Strike Team to Ghana! We are looking forward to sharing our prayer requests, stories and the exciting ways that God works in us and through us during our time in Africa. First of all, if you have supported any person on this team, we thank you soooooo much, for your prayers, we thank you even more. We know that we could not do this without people like you standing behind us, so thanks for your partnership. We are currently about a month away from our team meeting here in Ventura for our 3 day rehearsal camp, and while that seems short, let me just tell you that it's the longest rehearsal camp that a strike team has had so far... for that we are VERY thankful, the first strike team rehearsal camp was a matter of hours... :S So the countdown is on! We are excited... not ready, but excited, so please pray for all of our preparations, from shopping trips, to shots, paperwork, and flights to music and choreography to learn, and our hearts to be prepared! Please pray for the heart of those in Ghana we are going to come in contact with, that they will be blessed, that they will be open to hearing what we have to say and sing and that MANY MANY MANY people will come to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way, that He would be exactly what they have been looking for and knew they were missing. Pray for health and safety for our team, as we prepare, and as we go!
